Total Film has revealed that, after much speculation, Juno Temple will be playing "street smart Gotham gal" Holly Robinson. It is believed that the actress will be playing the young prostitute version of the character from Frank Miller's Batman Year One DVD, who serves as the sidekick of Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman).
The Dark Knight Rises comes to theaters July 20th, 2012 and stars Liam Neeson, Tom Hardy, Christian Bale, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Aidan Gillen, Marion Cotillard. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

How do you figure that ? The Dark Knight Rises is coming out in 2012, but the Man of Steel isn't coming out until a year or so in 2013. Maybe it will all be about the Dark Knight Rises in 2012 or it might be all about The Avengers in 2012. But, as for the Man of Steel, that isn't coming out until a year later or so in 2013.

@slysnide It's difficult to say. I guess it depends on how big a fan of The Third Man Nolan is. If the film is set up right, then there will be no randomness, as his return will be built up with clues throughout the film. But again, who knows how Nolan is going to work this? Just because we know snippets does not mean we have the full picture, something we won't have until July 20, 2012, if all goes well of course.

@dan1 @ejk1: He'd probably be in a flashback scene if anything. To randomly have him just show up for a scene or two would be rather underwhelming. Or to have him let Bane do all the work to just show up [TSN review up btw] and take charge is ridiculous. Wikipedia says Neeson is indeed in the film to reprise the role, but that's not exactly a great source.

@slysnide The big question now seems to be "Is Ras alive or dead?" Liam Neeson was reportedly on set, but of course that could have been for flashback scenes. On the otherhand, the body of Ras was never seen on film, so who knows? I wouldn't bet on him being alive, but it would be nice to see him there at the end as it all comes around full circle.

@ejk1: Ah, sounds like Bane is gonna be a hybrid of Joker & Ras in that he seems to want to inspire anarchy a la the football stadium speech, and yet wants to destroy the city like Ras. This will be interesting to see how it plays out. And notice how Scarecrow doesn't appear to be returning.

Can't believe how much Gotham has gone to sh*t. Wreckless thugs led by Bane driving round in trucks and Three Tumblers. Terror on the streets. Catwoman stealing Batman's cycle. Battles on the steps of City Council. Damaging a football field. Floods. Stacking cars high in front of the tunnel. And now...thugs stealing apples from children!! That one really pushes it...I hope Batman breaks his rule, because that sh*t ain't called for!

Looks good but only time will tell. There is such high expectations on this one and i am really trying to keep my excitement level down so as not to be hugely disapointed. Expect nothing and you wont be disapointed.
