Anna Paquin joins Black Wings Has My Angel
The story is based on Elliott Chaze's 1953 pulp novel about an ex-con who stages an elaborate armored car robbery, with the help of a Mississippi call girl. Elijah Wood will also star in the drama, although it isn't known which roles these actors are portraying.
We last reported on Black Wings Has My Angel back in May 2010, when Alfonso Pineda Ulloa signed on to direct. He will be working from a script he co-wrote with Barry Gifford and Christopher Peditto, which is adapted from the Elliott Chaze novel.
Cargo Entertainment is producing alongside Elijah Wood, Christopher Peditto, and Anthony Moody. Production is scheduled to begin in September.
Black Wings Has My Angel is in development and stars Anna Paquin, Tom Hiddleston, Elijah Wood. The film is directed by Alfonso Pineda Ulloa.
