English accents for Russian characters aside, this looks great. It appears they did not ignore the half of the book that focused on Levin's story, which parallels Anna's chronologically, but contrasts in life choices (morally speaking, that is). All in all, I look way more forward to this than Gatsby.

Saoirse Ronan isn't part of this movie. She turned it down. The trailer looks really beautiful. Love the costumes. =)

Joe Wright is a fantastic director. I have never been a fan of Pride & Prej but his version won me over 5 mins in. Atonement was one of my fav movies from 2007 and i cant saw enough about Hanna. Very excited to see this.

@bawnian-dexeus I thought the same thing. Probably a reason he's so mature in his acting at his young age.

@thedude-abides Hard to believe the man has two daughters with a woman twice his age. But I agree, boy has talent.

Visually, it looks really good. I just hope it doesn't fall flat. And I'll continue to say this on behalf of Aaron Johnson: Dude is the verge of something great. I said in 2010 I'd take him over Jesse Eisenberg (who was then being nominated for an Oscar for his role in The Social Network) going forward in their respective careers and got ripped for it on this site. All this kid needs is a little more time to mature and make a name for himself, because he's certainly got the skills. It's only a matter of time before the roles start pouring in, if they haven't already.
