I agree with you guys on a big aspect, but a rare thing about wright is that he has a big say in the script which he did with Atonement and Pride & Prejudice, which were very good adaptations.
But i guess were have to see, a ridiculous fact is that it cost 1 million for the earrings that Keira Knightly wears throughout the film lol

@narrator Yeah, it's definitely one of those books that deservedly get put in the G.O.A.T. discussion, along with Crime & Punishment, David Copperfield et al. Just for clarification, when I said "chop," I didn't mean that to be necessarily a bad thing, it's just AK clocks in at between 800-1000 pages, and being a Tolstoy, it's extremely dense. It's all going to come down to how the screenwriters adapt. Remember the episode of The Simpsons where Homer ordered the poison blowfish that had to be cut just right or he'd die? That's basically what this is; they have to cut this just right, otherwise it'll be a horrible mess.

@ejk1, I've never read the book. I guess from your statement, it's good?
@thedude-abides, I like Atonement as well, though most people I know felt it dragged and was overrated the year it came out, which is why it hardly won any of its noms that year. Glad to see I'm not the only sentimentalist male on here that enjoyed it. :P

I've been anticipating this for some time. Not really sure how it's gonna play out, but I love Johnson and Knightley, and Atonement was simply amazing, so this is definitely one to look out for.
