Angelina Jolie in Negotiations for Sin City 2?

It seems that a highly-anticipated sequel might be moving forward in the near future and there is some possible casting news as well. Moviehole is reporting that Angelina Jolie has been "in serious talks" for a role in Robert Rodriguez's Sin City 2.

The site is reporting that Jolie is in talks to play the female lead of Ava, who appears in the Frank Miller graphic novel "A Dame to Kill For." It was said that Jolie had talked to Rodriguez about the role as early as 2006, but now it seems that the film is finally gaining momentun and the "filmmakers are trying to get Jolie to officially commit to playing the female lead."

We'll certainly keep you posted on any and all Sin City 2 news as soon as we have more information.

    Still, dude was married. I like Rodriguez, but c'mon, he was cheating on his wife, plain and simple. Although, I can't say what I'd do in that situation (though with Rose McGowan in the equation, I can predict, and it's definitely less than admirable).

    Angelina Jolie was suppose to star in Sin City2 a couple of years ago, but, her pregnancy at the time switched everybody's schedule around...

    As for McGowan, Rodriquez has been seeing her for a while..hence putting her in his Barbarella remake.

    It's about time Sin City2 has started to ramp up.
