Director Andy Tennant has signed on to helm the upcoming Universal film Chasing Harry Winston. According to Variety, Mandalay Pictures is producing this dramedy based on Lauren Weisberger's novel of the same name.

The story revolves around three young women that set out to better their lives over the course of a year. The script, which is set to be adapted by Gina Wendkos, will pick one of the three women to focus on and follow her plight through life.

The film does not have a set start date at this time.
