Andrew Bergman penning a remake of I Love You Again

I Love You Again: According to Variety, Andrew Bergman will write a modern-day adaptation of the 1940 comedy I Love You Again for New Line Cinema.

The story concerns a dull businessman who suffers a blow to the head, snapping him out of a heretofore-undiagnosed nine-year amnesiac haze and revealing his true persona as a charming swindler.

The original pic, an MGM production adapted from a novel by Octavus Roy Cohen, starred The Thin Man duo William Powell and Myrna Loy.
