According to Variety, Amy Smart and Eurotrip star Scott Mechlowicz have both recently signed on to star in The Way of the Peaceful Warrior for controversial director Victor Salva (Jeepers Creepers) from a script by Kevin Bernhardt, Bob Dolman (The Banger Sisters) and Salva.

The story is based on Dan Millman's autobiography "Peaceful Warrior", which looks at his experience as a college student who, during the course of training to be an Olympic gymnast, meets an old man (nicknamed Socrates) who becomes his mentor.

Production is scheduled to begin in early March in L.A. Smart can next be seen alongside Ryan Reynolds in Just Friends . Mechlowicz can next be seen in the drama Mean Creek which had its premiered at Sundance and had a limited theatrical run in the US.
