Amy Smart Returns for Crank 2

Amy Smart has officially signed on to reprise her role as Chev Chelios' girlfriend in the upcoming sequel Crank 2. According to Variety, Clifton Collins Jr. has also signed onto the film. He will be playing Chev's evil nemesis.

Bai Ling will also appear in the film, along with returning cast members Dwight Yoakam and Efren Ramirez. The plot finds Chev going up against a group of mobsters that have stolen his nearly indestructible heart. Chev undergoes an electrical heart transplant, and the organ needs regular jolts of electricity to keep running.

The film will begin principle photography on April 28th in and around the Los Angeles area.

Crank was released September 1st, 2006 and stars Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Jose Pablo Cantillo, Efren Ramirez, Dwight Yoakam, Carlos Sanz, Reno Wilson, Edi Gathegi. The film is directed by Mark Neveldine, Brian Taylor.

    i think he wouldve passed out on that table with the doc who was injecting him with some meth and such, remember how he said he could pas out for a few days and try to flush it out? otherwise it mite be a prequel if they bring back dead characters. then again they could just be the same actor in a different role

    I believe that Jason Statham is the new action hero to replace Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzeneggar, and Sylvester Stallone. I thought Keanu Reeves was going to be an action star after SPEED but he copped out on us and pick sorry movies.

    everybody who died after chev got in the cab was a dream god damn im tired of explaining it to all of you he took that drug the driver gave to him and he passed out and the rest of the movie was him dreaming not to be mean but thats what happend and if you dont like that to bad look more into crank hell listen to the cometary on the dvd the creaters explained it perfectly when he gets in the cab a hint that he was dreaming
