AMC picks up the sci-fi alien pilot Thunderstruck
Paul Harris Boardman and Scott Derrickson are writing the pilot script, which centers on mysterious UFOs that start to appear all over the world. The show is set in the small town of Great Falls, Montana, where the citizens try to deal with this unexplained phenomena.
Scott Derrickson will direct the pilot script and executive produce alongside Paul Harris Boardman and David Eick. No production schedule was given for the pilot.
Paul Harris Boardman and Scott Derrickson have previously collaborated on The Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Day the Earth Stood Still remake.

Sounds great, I'm sure if AMC can handle zombies, drama, and westerns, then Thunderstruck (cue AC/DC theme song) will be excellent!

had this been any other network i would have lost interest immediately. however, AMC is pretty good about shows they pick up or show interest in. i will wait to see more before i decide, but so far i'm interested.

The classic AC/DC song should be the theme song.
