Amber Heard joins the cast of Paranoia
Liam Hemsworth stars as Adam Cassidy, an ambitious young man trying to get ahead in his entry-level job at a telecommunications firm. After he makes a costly mistake, the company CEO agrees not to turn him in if he spies on a rival company
Amber Heard is playing a potential love interest for Adam, who works at the company he is spying on. The cast also includes Harrison Ford, Gary Oldman, and Lucas Till.
Robert Luketic is directing from a screenplay by Jason Dean Hall, which he adapted from the novel of the same name by Joseph Finder. Barry Levy wrote the first draft of this adaptation. Relativity will handle domestic distribution, while IM Global is in charge of international sales. Production is scheduled to begin next month.
Paranoia comes to theaters August 16th, 2013 and stars Gary Oldman, Liam Hemsworth, Amber Heard, Harrison Ford, Embeth Davidtz, Josh Holloway, Richard Dreyfuss, Julian McMahon. The film is directed by Robert Luketic.
