Amanda Seyfried leaving Big Love after this season
The show's creator Will Scheffer had this to say about the shocking news, "She's been exploring her movie career for a couple of years now, and we've been giving her a lot of room to do that. I know having a commitment to a show for six months definitely cuts into her ability to pursue that career." It's being reported that the actress will depart from the series at the end of the season, in the eighth of nine episodes, as her character will finally fly the coop and leave her family. "She's moving away," confirmed Scheffer. It's also being reported that before Sarah leaves home she will be busy getting married in the third episode, which does not make her parents too happy at all.
Seyfried began her career on the daytime soap opera As The World Turns and later had a recurring role on Veronica Mars; her upcoming film projects include the starring role in Lasse Hallstrom's Dear John and Letters to Juliet co-starring Gael Garcia Bernal.

Um Courtney...DAMN. I forgot. I'll have to talk to my girlfriend about this fact. I can barely remember anything from yesterday...

Yea, why does it have to be so solidified? Why can't she make guest appearance later on?

Sucks. I lover her character...but at the same time, it makes sense. She's poised to go off to college soon...with the new baby?
