Amanda Peet Joins Gulliver's Travels
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film is derived from Jonathan Swift's classic story, and also stars Jason Segel and Emily Blunt. Monsters Vs. Aliens co-director Rob Letterman is directing the film, which was written by Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman.
The modern retelling follows travel writer Lemuel Gulliver, who heads to an assignment in the Bermuda Triangle only to end up on the secret island of Lilliput, home to a population of industrious tiny people. Peet will play Black's editor and potential romantic interest.
The project began filming last month.
Gulliver's Travels was released December 25th, 2010 and stars Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Jack Black, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, T.J. Miller, Romany Malco, Chris O'Dowd. The film is directed by Rob Letterman.
