Chris Carter is directing this adaptation of his TV show. Xzibit and Peet are set to play FBI agents. This will be a stand-alone story that has no ties to any particular episode. The plot of the film is being kept from the public at this point, and there are no further details on the characters these three actors will play.
Filming is set to begin this month in Vancouver.
The X-Files: I Want to Believe was released July 25th, 2008 and stars David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, Amanda Peet, Billy Connolly, Xzibit, Mitch Pileggi, Callum Keith Rennie, Adam Godley. The film is directed by Chris Carter.
