The vacationing Chipmunks and Chipettes are turning a luxury cruise liner into their personal playground, until they become 'chipwrecked' on a remote island. As the 'Munks and Chipettes try various schemes to find their way home, they accidentally discover their new turf is not as deserted as it seems.
Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked was released December 16th, 2011 and stars Jason Lee, David Cross, Jenny Slate, Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Amy Poehler, Anna Faris. The film is directed by Mike Mitchell.

WTF is wrong with all of you guys? AATC is awesome! Maybe instead of complaining about the movie you should shove the poster up your ass! Because a lot of people ( like me ) and their kids ( again, like me ) really like these movies! My twin daughters LOVE the Chipettes and my son LOVES the Chipmunks. I'm 31 and I love the Chipmunks AND the Chipettes! Those guys are a legacy! Who cares if they make 4 movies? Or 5? Or 6, for all I care! I mean, maybe after 4 movies they should make a TV series........but whatever! NOT MY POINT. You guys should just shut your faces and write POSITIVE comments about movies! NOT TRASH THE COMMENT AREA! >:-( People like you guys piss me off.........

U know i defended them through everything. The 1st movie pretty damn cool, the 2nd movie ok, But this 1 can suck a dick for all I care. I mean they could've use this plot 4 a t.v. movie but NOOOO they had to use it for a F*ckin' Movie theater release. Plus, why have the setting in the summer but release it during christmas time....Only a reboot can save them now

@moviewiz001 i'm with you! can't stand david cross's character in this franchise. glad to be rid of him. that's not to say i'm overly thrilled about a 3rd installment, especially one like this. if there was to be a third i wish it would have been similar in structure/story to The Chipmunk Adventure.
