Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D set for December 2011
There are no plot details at this time, but it is suspected that most of the cast will return, including the popular Chipettes. The film will be competing with Steven Spielberg's The Adventure's of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, which opens a week later on December 23rd.
In other 20th Century Fox scheduling news, the studio has moved the release date of Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps from April 21st to September 24th. The move was made so that Oliver Stone's sequel could be included in the Cannes Film Festival in May.
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps was released September 24th, 2010 and stars Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, Josh Brolin, Carey Mulligan, Eli Wallach, Susan Sarandon, Frank Langella, Austin Pendleton. The film is directed by Oliver Stone.

So; it's a hoax. Till they decide to come out with a movie, I recommend reading the fanfiction story: The way You Make me Feel, by Iluvthechipmunks. After reading it,you- the reader will wish it was a movie! The writer is that good! She is currently working on a sequel story called: What happens out of love. Both stories are based on the Squeakquel.

From what I have heard it is not confirmed. As of now neither Fox or Bagdasarian studios has given a name to the film I keep checking for updates all the time and the title seems to be a hoax.

AS A WAR is raging between The Chipmunks and Fox studios The fate of this movie is unknown. We can hope they can make Fox see the light; Never double cross a Chipmunk! Like Harry Potter's creator, The Bagdasarians are in full control of their creation. If Fox studios wants another movie, they better give them what they want!

The teenaged Alvin and Brittany, trying to rekindle their love for each other, could be a subplot. If they cast Betty White; to play the role of Miss Miller- (fostermom to the Chipettes), the film will be a classic! Robert Downey Jr. could play Professor Clyde Crashcup. (A parody of his Tony Stark role!)

Imagine this great 3D moment: Chipmunks and Chipettes are invited to Crashcup Industries. To try out a new 3D virtual reality simulation program. The all laugh when the see their own avatars; which happen to be the classic Chipmunks and Chipettes. We get to see both versions in the same film.

I have very little hope for Tin Tin. The character is not as woven into our culture; as much as our local icons of literature and media! Even Nancy Drew tried to grab some attention and failed! Alvin and the Chipmunks 3D, have a core fan base,( children, teen-aged girls, and college students), who out number 3 to 1; those who think the films are awful! So you see Josh. Your opinion isn't worth a pair of fetid Dingo Kidneys!

A 3D film about romantic singing Chipmunks or a story of greedy bastards that led a nation to near ruin? I'm sorry ; but I'm siding with The Chipmunks! Perhaps they can combine both; let the Chipmunks teach them a lesson like they did to the David Cross character!
