Ellen Page was set to topline the Ghost House Pictures/Mandate Pictures project but had to step aside due to scheduling conflicts.
Drag Me To Hell marks Raimi's first helming effort since Spider-Man 3, and centers on the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse.
Filming begins March 31 in Los Angeles.
Drag Me to Hell was released May 29th, 2009 and stars Alison Lohman, Justin Long, Lorna Raver, Dileep Rao, David Paymer, Adriana Barraza, Chelcie Ross, Reggie Lee. The film is directed by Sam Raimi.
