It seems that the director and star of a hit 90s teen comedy will be teaming up on a new film project. Screen Daily is reporting that Clueless star Alicia Silverstone and director Amy Hecklerling have come together for Vamps.

The story revolves around two young female vampires in New York City, who both have new romantic interests in their lives and must face a decision that could put their immortality at stake. Silverstone and Krysten Ritter will star as the vampires.

Principal photography is set to begin on the film in April.

    Hell yes, Silverstone returning to movies? She was one of my 90s actresses wet dreams, I mean...uh...her return to acting is simply epic in nature.
