The tale of the feuding organ repo flicks continues. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Alice Braga has been cast in the second to be announced artifical organ thriller The Repossession Mambo.

Jude Law and Forest Whitaker are also starring in the futuristic thriller being produced by Universal Pictures. The plot is based on Eric Garcia's novel of the same name. He wrote the script with Garrett Lerner. The plot follows a repo man who must repossess artificial organs. When he suffers a heartattack and is unable to pay for the artificial heart, he must go on the run from his former partner.

Braga is playing Beth, the repo man's former wife who helps her ex-husband while he is on the run. The film goes before the camera October 15th in Toronto. Darren Lynn Bousman's Repo! The Genetic Opera!, which has a similar premise, is currently in production. He shouldn't worry too much about the competition. His film is a musical with 77 original songs.

Repo Men was released March 19th, 2010 and stars Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Alice Braga, Liev Schreiber, Carice van Houten, Chandler Canterbury, Joe Pingue, Liza Lapira. The film is directed by Miguel Sapochnik.
