A film adaptation of the 1970 TV series UFO is in the works, and it looks like they might be close to casting a hero. Forbidden Planet recently spoke with Matthew Gratzner, who is helming the feature adaptation UFO, and he revealed that Heroes actress Ali Larter is in talks to play Virginia Lake.

"We've talked to Ali Larter, who's very interested," he said. "I've actually met with her, and I think she would be a great addition to the picture. Lake is very strong and obviously also very feminine, and Ali Larter definitely encompasses that."

Joshua Jackson is already set to star as Paul Foster, a pilot who joins the S.H.A.D.O ((Supreme Headquarters Alien Defense Organization), a secret organization that protects the world against aliens who have been abducting humans.
