Alexandre Aja directing Horns for Mandalay Pictures
Horns is based off the Joe Hill novel, which centers on a 26-year-old man who wakes up one morning with an enormous hangover, and discovers horns are growing out of his head. He becomes convinced that the horns have something to do with the unsolved murder of his girlfriend.
Alexandre Aja will direct from an adapted script by Keith Bunin. Cathy Schulman and Peter Guber are producing for Mandalay Pictures, with Joe Hill, the son of author Stephen King, executive producing.
Mandalay Pictures is currently securing financing for Horns, and they planning to start principal photography in late spring or early summer of 2012.
Horns comes to theaters in 2013 and stars Shia LaBeouf. The film is directed by Alexandre Aja.
