The Virgin Connie Swail, otherwise known as Baywatch's Alexandra Paul, as joined the cast of Tru Love. According to Variety, she will play a lesbian mother struggling to make it in today's America. She has also been cast as a lawyer in the upcoming drama Date with a Murder.

In other casting news, Cheryl Hines is starting to fill out the roster for her upcoming directorial debut entitled Serious Moonlight. Derek Carter has joined the cast of this film, which was written by the late Adrienne Shelly, director of Waitress.

Lastly, Devin "Poetri" Smith has come aboard the comedy Yes Man. He will be starring opposite Jim Carrey in this real-life story of a man that decides to answer yes to everything that comes his way.
