It seems the biopic on a famed 70s band has finally found its last band member. According to MTV, Alessandra Torresani has joined the cast of The Runaways.

The actress, who stars in the upcoming TV series Caprica, will portray guitarist Lita Ford. Kristen Stewart will portray Joan Jett, Dakota Fanning to play Cherie Curry, Stella Maeve to play Sandy West from the title band, who had such hits as "Cherry Bomb" during their brief four-year run in the 70s.

Filming was said to begin shortly on the biopic, with Torresani only having a week to learn how to play the guitar and rehearse with the rest of her movie bandmates.

The Runaways was released March 19th, 2010 and stars Kristen Stewart, Dakota Fanning, Michael Shannon, Stella Maeve, Scout Taylor-Compton, Alia Shawkat, Riley Keough, Johnny Lewis. The film is directed by Floria Sigismondi.
