Alcon Entertainment Chows Down on Hong Kong Phooey

According to Variety Alcon Entertainment will be making its live-action/animated version of Hong Kong Phooey with Alex Zamm directing. The screenplay was written by David Goodman.

The film will be an adaptation of the 1970s Hanna-Barbera animated TV series.

In this show a janitor that works at a police station turns into a dog with the ability to do kung fu.

    friggin' sweeeeeeeeeeet....Hong Kong Phooey was one of my favorite cartoons in the 70's...I just hope they do it good and not make it crappy...have to wait and see..
