Wedding Photo: According to Variety, Alan Cumming will star in and produce writer-helmer Ali Selim's period piece Wedding Photo, with Ned Beatty, Lois Smith, Tim Guinee, Elizabeth Reaser, Gil Bellows and Tom Gilroy rounding out the cast.

The actor has further signed on to a spate of projects, including the MGM feature Living in Neon Dreams.

Wedding Photo will be Cumming's first producing assignment since 2001's "The Anniversary Party" for Fine Line Features.

Set in 1920s Minnesota, "Photo" follows the epic journey to the altar of Inge, a mail-order bride who arrives in in the Midwest from Norway. Cumming will play a father of nine kids whose farm is being repossessed by a malicious banker.

The film goes into production this month.
