Don't know if it'll work but Pacino needs to justify his greatness. According to my stats he hasn't done anything mentionable since....I don't know Heat/Brasco/Advocate.

thanks killerman, being an angry football coach is different than lasorda. Lasorda is legendary. it doesnt matter how big of a fan he is, his acting skills have good down hill for years, and this is a role he cant fully do justice to. apocalyps, you couldnt possibly be a HUGE baseball or lasorda fan, trust me, ask ANY true baseball fan. i would rather see goodman doing this aswell, his aura is so much more like lasorda, good people. pacino has an edgy unwelcoming aura.

if i was Tommy lasorda is would do whatever i can to keep al pacino from being in this movie. al pacino's dying acting skills are going to ruin lasorda's image as a great manager. i'd rather see john goodman in this role.

    You're an idiot.

Pacino is not only a great actor, he was the best thing in "Any Given Sunday" - a football movie.

I'm excited about this, I've heard Pacino is a huge baseball and Lasorda fan. I'd also like to see him with Pfeiffer again.

as a baseball fan, im pretty upset he would be given the part. a terrible actor playing the role of a great man in the baseball community. this isnt a murder mystery. its sports. a genre pacino couldnt spell.
