Aidan Quinn and Rutger Hauer Board Prince of Motor City
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two join the previously cast Piper Perabo, Andie MacDowell, Sharon Lawrence, John Carroll Lynch, Warren Christie and Morris Chestnut.
Prince of Motor City is a gothic family soap inspired by Hamlet that centers on Billy Hamilton (Christie), a young Harvard philosophy professor forced to return to Detroit to take over the family's auto company after his father's death.
Quinn will play Billy's uncle Charlie Hamilton, who always has been in his brother's shadow. Hauer will play Billy's father, William Hamilton, who recently was killed in an accident and begins appearing to his estranged son as a ghost.
