Actress Isabelle Fuhrman, who stars as Clove in The Hunger Games, has joined the cast of After Earth for Columbia Pictures and director M. Night Shyamalan.

The story centers on Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith, who crash land on earth, years after the planet was deemed uninhabitable for humans. After their crash, it's up to the son, who is viewed as a "failed warrior," to save his father. Isabelle Fuhrman is playing Rayna, a friend of Jaden Smith's character. We reported last month that Zoë Kravitz and Sophie Okonedo have joined the project. Zoë Kravitz will play Will Smith's daughter, while Sophie Okonedo plays his wife.

M. Night Shyamalan is directing After Earth, which was previously titled 1000 A.E., from a script by Gary Whitta. Production is scheduled to start in March, on location in Utah and Pennsylvania.

After Earth comes to theaters June 7th, 2013 and stars Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Isabelle Fuhrman, Zoƫ Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo. The film is directed by M. Night Shyamalan.

    @2movieguys -- An actress from the movie "Orphan".

    @dan1 -- Probably.

    I honestly don't know why Will Smith or Isabelle Fuhrman are having anything to do with M. Night Shyamalan. Two very talented people working with a bad director.

    @thedude-abides Smith sucks these days anyways. Django will be better for it. He's too obsessed with having his children in everything he does. Had Tarantino allowed one of his kids to be in Django, prob would have taken it.

    M. Night has been making some horrible films for the past number of years. I personally think he needs to try acting a bit more.
