Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston have boarded Columbia Picture's romantic comedy Pretend Wife, which is being developed as a Sandler vehicle and is in the process of gathering the wedding party, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Aniston is in talks to star opposite Sandler, with Sandler mainstay Dennis Dugan the leading contender to direct the project, though no deals have been made as the studio is figuring out the seating arrangement.

The script, written by Allan Loeb and Tim Dowling and once known as "Holiday in Hawaii," is being kept under wraps. Columbia is planning a shoot early next year and eyeing a release on Feb. 11, 2011, the Friday before Valentine's Day.

Adam Sandler is awesome, I don't care what people say. I thought FUNNY PEOPLE was good and GROWN-UPS should be awesome as well. Jennifer Aniston is a favorite of mine in comedy from FRIENDS so seeing them together should be fun, I'll see this.

I see every Sandler film, even the sh*tty ones, which sadly, includes about half his filmography. I really liked Funny People, despite his douchebaggery.
