ABC's New Scrubs Will Air December 1st!

Variety reports that ABC's overhauled version of Scrubs will hit the airwaves on December 1.

This year, the focus of the show shifts to a medical school setting. It will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. beginning that night.

Scrubs is also going air a second original episode that night, at 9:30 p.m.

The new version of Scrubs will open after the animated holiday special Prep & Landing. That show will air at 8:30 that night.

Returning to Scrubs will be John C. McGinley and Donald Faison as well as Eliza Coupe, Michael Mosley, Kerry Bishe and Dave Franco. Series star Zach Braff is going to appear in several episodes.

    Eliza Coupe's Denise is great. The best of the new interns from last season, though they were all good. Might have made more sense to begin anew with them ala a "new class", which could have potentially seen this running another eight seasons.

    At any rate, I think this new version of Scrubs needs a new title, or at least a sub-title, like - Scrubs: Med School.
