ABC to Only Air V's First Four Episodes

ABC's highly anticipated series remake of the NBC mini-series V is only getting a four episode run this November. According to Entertainment Weekly, the rest of the season will have to wait until after the Olympics are over in March.

The news comes under the speculation that the series is undergoing a massive overhaul. A two-week production hiatus was recently announced by ABC, but with the program's scheduling change, that hiatus has been stretched out for another four weeks. ABC stated that their intent was to always air the series in "pod" form in order to treat it more like an event.

V is set to hit TV screens on November 3rd. The drama chronicles an alien race that invades earth under the guide of peace. The series stars Elizabeth Mitchell and Scott Wolf.

Yeah, "highly anticipated" is right! Damn Olympics. Why couldn't ABC have started showing V sooner!? They always pull that crap! They tease us for what feels like an eternity, and then we only get a taste of it. This is bulls**t!

I mean, what kind of "overhaul" can they be doing. Did they not have all of their eggs in a row, when they started promoting it?! Who's streering the damn ship?!

LOL, last sentence, ....under the "guide" of peace. I'm sure they meant "guise". Even Movieweb has typos.
