ABC to Make Ben Hur Miniseries
This four-hour film comes from Alchemy Television Group and Spain's Drimtim Entertainment.
David Wyler, the son of legendary director William Wyler, will be executive producing the project. William Wyler's 1959 film of the same name chronicled ancient Rome and picked up 11 Oscars.
Steve Shill (Rome) will be directing the project that is written by Alan Sharp.
The $22.5 million production is set to begin in May in Spain, Morocco and Canada. No casting details have been given. ABC has yet to pick an airdate.

Off course not, Shelley, this will be just a TV project, but it'd be nice to see any kind of historical series on TV.
