We'll be laughing with Jimmy Kimmel on ABC for at least one more year; the network has renewed his talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live for a fifth season to 2008; in addition, they've also scheduled a primetime special in September for its latenight host.

According to Variety, the late night show has averaged 1.64 million during 2005-06, a 6% increase from last year. The primetime show, Jimmy Kimmel Live's All-Star Salute to Jimmy Kimmel Live! will include clips from the past three years and will be taped before a studio audience.

You can catch the Jimmy Kimmel primetime special at 10pm on September 13th; Jimmy Kimmel Live airs at 12:05am weeknights.
