ABC picked up the untitled Victoria Pile comedy.

According to Variety, the show is about the colorful characters who inhabit a police precinct; Pile wrote the pilot and will executive produce.

In other TV news, Adam Bernstein will direct the NBC comedy, Business Class from Dutch Oven; the show is written by Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein, who will also executive produce. NBC has also hired Michael Dinner to direct the Laeta Kalogridiscq version of The Bionic Woman.
