ABC Orders More FlashForward

While it was announced last week that three of ABC's new comedies will receive full-season orders, now one of its hot new dramas has a full season to look forward to as well. According to Variety, ABC has handed out a full season order for FlashForward.

The network handed out a back-nine episode order for the series which will extend the season to 22 episodes. The series has been performing nicely in the Thursday 8 PM slot, even giving the popular CBS reality series Survivor some competition.

The series, which stars Joseph Fiennes, premiered with a healthy 12.5 million viewers tuning in and the premiere even added an extra 2 million viewers when DVR numbers are figured in.

    FF is excellent! Please keep it going. I can't wait to see how all the puzzle pieces fall into place. If they do this right, it will be the next Lost. I've read what the book is about and it's amazing. There definitely is potential to make a truly awesome series if it allowed to be carried on through fruition. Pass the word to people that like smart TV shows!

    this show is amazing. i hope they have an end in mind so it doesnt drone on and on just to keep people on the network... we don't need another "Heroes". i agree with Messenger... goyer on board intrigues me... can't wait to see where this show goes! awesome!

    story on this show can be done so well, because of the effects of any person chaning something in their present to alter that dream they saw....hopefully its good ABC isnt known for cancelling shows that i heard of in the past, its just NBC as of late doing
