It seems Nicole Kidman might have a new on-screen husband for her next film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Aaron Eckhart is in talks to star in Rabbit Hole alongside Nicole Kidman.

Eckhart would portray Kidman's husband in the tale that follows a happily married couple who must endure a sudden tragedy to keep their marriage afloat. Eckhart's character is constantly holding onto the memory of his dead son while Kidman's character has become icy and distant since their loss.

David Lindsay-Abaire has adapted his own stage play and John Cameron Mitchell has also just come aboard to direct. The production is planning a May start date for filming.
