Directed by Michael Bay and starring Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox, Transformers 2 is scheduled for a June 26, 2009 release date.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

Yeah, I think it would be fitting if Megatron returned seeing as he didn't really do much in the first movie...and plus I didn't agree with the way he was destroyed either. It should have been Optimus Prime that finished off Megatron and not some kid from "Even Stevens".

yea, 10sec is right, he was in a few scenes of the first, and the ending showed him flying off for reinforcements. I too heard the rumor that he will be in the second as one of the main decepticons if not the leader, but I think megatron will be back as well.

Starscream WAS in trhe first movie, but not for very long. I think he's going to be the main antagonist in the second movie seeing as he's second in command next to Megatron. During the credits of the first movie he is seen leaving earth in his Jet form which implies that he might be coming back with more decepticons for some revenge.

Heard a rumour that Starscream was supposed to be in this, but not confirmed yet. Was surprised he wasn't in the first one. There'll be hell to play if he ain't in this one Dreamworks. He's not necessarily my favourite one, but he was an important character in the 'toons. So to leave him out of this would be unusual at the very least.
