A Nightmare on Elm Street Remake Trailer Attached to Zombieland

Bloody-Disgusting has learned that the first trailer for the upcoming Platinum Dunes remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street will be attached to prints of Zombieland, which is due in theaters on October 2.

We presume that the trailer will debut online sometime that weekend, so be sure to check back that weekend to get your first look at the trailer right here.

A Nightmare on Elm Street stars Jackie Earle Haley, Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy, Connie Britton and will be released nationwide on April 30, 2010.

    His role in Little Children and Watchmen make him perfect for Freddy Krueger. He wasn't much in Semi Pro and he started out as a supporting character in the original Bad News Bears films. That's all I really have seen him in, I do want to see Shutter Island.

    I'm sorry but i think the best choice would have to be Jackie Earle Haley.He's the right height, weight, and body type for the role. His facial features, hairline, and jawline are more than efficient enough to slap some FX make-up on and create the closest thing you can to Robert Englund.....Now Newkill you stupid f*ck, where did you see me say he was the same, or an equal to Robert Englund. I didn't, so learn how to read you retard, and stop trying to be witty, you are not.

    Dna, shut the f*ck up. Those are not Jackie Earl Haley does not me the same standards as Robert Englund does. Jackie just did a good Rorshach because he had the voice for it. Now, there gonna make Freddy scary, just like a rip off of Myers or Candyman. Freddy corkyness was the main thing that differentiated him from every other killer.

    Your comments about actors taking roles just because they need the money are a complete waste of time and show your ignorance and hypocricy. Ignorance because you immediately think "this will suck" just because it's a remake, no matter how much potential it might have. Hypoocricy because I know for a fact you have liked/are looking forward to a number of remakes, reimaginings, reboots, or whatever you wish to call them.

    JEH is a brilliant actor. He'll probably be this movie's saving grace. Oh, and please to note that "actor" is his career, meaning that's how he earns money, or as you like to call it "pay the rent." There's a difference between an actor and a sell-out...JEH is an actor. This movie was going to happen, it might as well happen with someone we know can do the job, or at least has enough cred to make us hope he can do the job.

    In short, shut the f*ck up. No one cares what you have to say. You're a closedminded, hypocritical, sorry excuse for a moviebuff and critic, which you think you're so good at being.
