I still think that Alexander skarsgard would have made a better Thor for this movie. He is 6'4, blond and with blue eyes. Plus, with long hair, as seen in True Blood season 1 and Season 2, He can pull off being a Viking and the Viking GOD.

Will they remember that Thor is a Norse GOD.
What did real Vikings looks like! - Now make him GOD like. Look at the f*cking comics and get an idea.

Well, I don't really know much about comic-lore, but this guy looks a lot like what I'd picture the younger version of Thor to be. Hope it pans out to be truth.

Oh, yes, Shelley, I totally agree with you that Karl Urban would have been the most amazing Thor.

Sounds good to me im sure a younger Thor is what they are going for and this guy looks the part his one scene in Star Trek was Deep and i think he might just have what it takes to pull it off

Interesting, would have never thought of him but he may work. Still think Karl Urban would make a good choice though.

I just saw Star Trek, and if he beefs up and develops an accent, he could do Thor. It's probably the best casting rumor for the character that's been released

I just thinking "this guy looks familiar" lol then I read that he was in Star Trek. I can see this guy as Thor as well. Kinda young but maybe that's what they want. Thor was a pretty big guy and middle aged so this is kinda weird but since he's still kinda an unknown they want to jump him into a contract. (If you didn't notice they are going with lesser known actors, most likely it's so they don't have to pay them as much to sign on).

I think he would make a good Thor and thought his scene in Star Trek was good. I hope this is true.

i hate ppl who say things like "Who cares", cuz firstly u must care to some degree if u feel it necessary to type that, or u really don't care, then r u really that stupid that u type something anyway? do u have so lil to do, is ur life that meaningless that u have to type two words into a thread that u don't care about?

anyway i didn't even recognize him from Trek, but yeah his part in Star Trek was great, he gave a good emotional performance for the 5 minutes he is in the movie. i wouldn't mind if this was true.

I'd watch him play Thor. I refuse, however, to watch anything to do with the piece of sh*t that was Red Dawn.

  18. MOVIE MAGE

He certainly looks the part and a younger take on Thor wouldn't be such a bad idea, thus appealing to many younger fans. Despite his lack of screen time in Star Trek, I actually found his acting to be quite sincere and I recall saying to myself during the movie how well he acted for such a small role and how great that entire sacrifice scene was. So I suppose he will do Thor justice.
