A New Helmer for The Transporter 3?

It seems that The Transporter might be going the way of the Mission: Impossible series now.

According to FilmsActu.com, it seems another new director might be brought on to helm the third Transporter film, and that is Olivier Megaton.

The site reports that secondary casting is underway and that the film will commence production this summer in Paris. Megaton had previously directed Red Siren and was the second unit director for Xavier Gens' Hitman, in which he directed the memorable subway fight sequence.

None of this has been confirmed as of yet - nor has star Jason Statham's involvement been confirmed - but we'll have more for you as it comes.

    who cares what story its gonna , or what city it takes place in!! the transporter movies are there for 1 reason and 1 reason only....... to entertain people who love action movies!! so long as there is cool car chases, sh*t blowing up and kick ass fight scenes nothing else in this type of movie really matters!!

    but i agree with andyryan,, it can't happen without Statham!!

    well i own and enjoy the 1st. the first was weak and quite different although i liked the story. a third with jason and a hopefully better director will make a third one worth while.

    the only way this film would ever even be worth seeing is if Statham's involvement was confirmed and locked in, but other than how far can they really take this sh*t? Leave the cow alone its getting over milked........

    I liked them both.It's supposed to be a crazy movie.Just mindless action will do.As long as statham is driving fast,kicking butt and actually in the movie it'll be good.
