A Haunted House 'The Possession' Spoof Poster

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend, A Haunted House playfully jabs at recent thrillers such as Paranormal Activity, Sinister, and The Last Exorcism. Open Road Films has unveiled the latest poster, which pokes fun at last year's horror tale The Possession. If you recall, one of The Possession posters featured a gruesome hand coming out of a young girl's mouth and covering her face. This lighter version shows a hand appearing from Marlon Wayans's mouth, but with a much more peaceful agenda. Take a look at this one-sheet, along with The Possession poster it is mocking.

A Haunted House was released January 11th, 2013 and stars Marlon Wayans, Marlene Forte, Essence Atkins, David Koechner, Dave Sheridan, Nick Swardson, Alanna Ubach, Andrew Daly. The film is directed by Michael Tiddes.

    It's almost a good spoof poster but the unrelated "peace" or "two" sign kills it. It'd be more effective if the hand was picking his nose or throwing the middle finger or something.
