As a stand alone, this looks good! but as a whole , it doent seem to add up w other die hard films.
"16 blocks" seemed more like a die hard movie.
this1 seems to go along the same route as "the last stand" with Arnold Schwarzenegger, and "Bullet to the Head" with stallone.
Its still gonna be good, NO DOUBT, but its missing what made first film a masterpiece, or atleast i think, they should bring back his wife, and daugher, maybe his son. (im not sure if hes in this or not) but you cant just bring him back alone, it makes it look like will smith with irobot, the only star power.

Meh.
The best thing about the original Die Hard was McClaine's average joe factor. Now that we've seen him do all the crazy sh*t that he's done in "...Harder", "...With a Vengeance", and "Live Free...", it's difficult to really see him losing at the end of the day here. The usual humor will be there, sure. After all, Bruce cares about addressing the ridiculousness of his action films, something I admire about the guy. However, I just don't feel like this'll be a good flick. It looks and feels relatively cheap, both on paper and from what I've seen with this admittedly short trailer, as opposed to the blockbuster helmed by Wiseman in 2007. That may just be an unseen saving grace for this film. Regardless, I hope it's good, but I won't hold my breath.

How can any1 be pumped for this? This is not die hard, look at part1 and compare it to this1, This1 feels and looks like a stand alone gilm. kinda like 'hostage"
Not that its a dumb movie,it just doesnt feel like a die hard to me.
die hard1 & die hard 3 will always be the best 1s.
