Andy Garcia stars as an ex-CIA agent who is tasked with exposing a South American massacre in director Damian Lee's political drama.
Magnolia Pictures has debuted the first clip from A Dark Truth, director Damian Lee's upcoming drama with an all-star ensemble cast. Andy Garcia stars as Jack Begosian, a former CIA agent who is asked to help a corporate whistle blower discover the truth about her company's involvement in a South American village massacre. Take a look at this scene where Jack tries to convince Francisco (Forest Whitaker) and Mia Francis (Eva Longoria) to trust him. The drama is currently available through VOD formats before its theatrical release January 4.

In A Dark Truth, Garcia plays an ex-CIA op-turned political talk show host. He's hired by a corporate whistle blower to expose her company's cover-up of a massacre in a South American village. The film draws attention to man's inhumanity and unconscious actions against the environment and questions if there is a moral and ethical obligation when talking about boundaries, borders and human interaction. With the ever-increasing depletion of earth's natural resource of water serving as the backdrop, a multi-national corporation disregards basic human needs that result in widespread illness and a people's uprising. The distress causes unlikely allies to conspire and seek redemption for past deeds and the greater good.

A Dark Truth was released January 4th, 2013 and stars Kevin Durand, Forest Whitaker, Kim Coates, Eva Longoria, Andy Garcia, Devon Bostick, Deborah Kara Unger, Steven Bauer. The film is directed by Damian Lee.
