Deadline Hollywood has reported that pre-production on
Halloween 3D, which was to start shooting in November, has slowed down and is now set for an October 2010 release.
Todd Farmer's script was turned in on Friday, however, Bob Weinstein of Dimension Films decided the project is being unnecessarily rushed in an effort to work around director Patrick Lussier's schedule. Lussier is set to start
Drive Angry, starring Nicolas Cage, in January.
Now Dimension Films is going to wait until Lussier is free so they can take their time with the project. The October release can't hurt either.

And it was a stupid movie. It didn't know where it was going. Was it a movie about a warlock, conspiracy to kill all of our children, androids/machine take over? I mean it was all over the board. If this was going to be a remake of Season of the Witch, I'd like to see all that weirdness explained.
I guess what really bothered me about that movie, is that I just hated that the cute hot girl in the original got turned into an android. That freakin' sucked!
Still not sure about this film. I'll have to see a trailer.
