Star Trek Filming at California State University - Northridge?
March 17th, 2008
If these pictures are accurate, it looks like this new Star Trek's idea of boldly going where no man has gone before, includes Northridge. According to Ain't It Cool News, a scooper sent them a few photos, from a film supposedly titled "Corporate Headquarters" that was shooting at California State University - Northridge. The funny thing is, the photos of these extras look strangely similar Starfleet Academy students, which could mean that the new J.J. Abrams Star Trek is filming at CSUN. Check out the images below.

The photos are largely taken from an elevated location, and you don't get a clear glimpse of what's really going on. However, there is a picture of a unique-looking space pod car gizmo that certainly does look Star Trek-ish as well.
Of course, it hasn't been confirmed that Star Trek is filming at the university, but these photos do seem do be quite convincing. We'll have more work on Star Trek/"Corporate Headquarters" as soon as we get more information.
Star Trek is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 8, 2009.
