Michael Bay Talks Transformers 3
January 15th, 2010

Michael Bay reveals we'll get to know the robots a lot better in the 3rd installment
So can we expect more thunderous sound in the third installment? Although the number of robots increased significantly from the first film for the second, the third film -- which will hit theaters in summer 2011, won't be as robot-heavy and there will be fewer explosions, a tight-lipped Bay said after the Q+A.
"There will be a nice crescendo ending," Bay said. "It gets much more into the robot character. The last time you kind of met a few of the robots; this time you're gonna get a much cooler landscape."

I have recently received word from a few friends of mine, that the movie "Transformers 3" will consist of a War for Cybertron." I hope you all like it.
Thank You All,
Matt.
Main problem 1: EHREN KRUGER! That guy f*cked this up. Orci and Kurtzman didn't focus on this because they we're busy with Star Trek and Fringe, so that explains why the dialogue and story here was crap compared to the first film.
Main Problem 2: Kruger then decided to use as filler and half a minute laughs put in the raunchiest stupidest and corniest pervert jokes ever said by robots or around them.
Main Problem 3: Michael Bay and his rush to get this under way...oh snap, that rhymes. He wanted it done fast because he wanted to do BB3 at the time and the studios only gave him 2 years to make this FX heavy film, so he ignored the rules of filmography and brought on another writer during the writers strike, because Kruger was cheaper and easier where as the other two cared about the script (and payment) and wouldn't really write much. This then left little time to plot out a crappy film, so they packed it with action to entertain and have cool scenes, and they didn't have time to recheck the pile of sh*t in their hands.
Main Problem 3: Steven Speilberg and producers actually weren't checking up on them so much this time around, and when all was said and done, all Steven said was, "Awesome." Thats not anywhere near as much as he said about the first one. I mean he wouldn't stop talking about its eye candy and witty dialogue so I was a bit skeptical from that point on, and rightfully so.
Main Problem 4: Ramon Rodriguez's character was the stupidest addition to this film besides the robot counterparts themselves. I mean seriously. And then the robots of course... no one cared for them save Optimus.
Main Problem 5: the underlying relatable story. I mean the first was about a boy and his car, and this one was supposed to be about a boy and spreading his wings, but they incorporated it so cheesily. I had to grimace when Sam kept telling his parents to go and they wouldn't, and yada yada yada, he died then I winced some more because I knew he would come back to life.
Overall, the second was a fun action mindless film, that had... 3.5 stars a best. I am simply saying they could have done so much better. If they fix these problems or at least some of them then we will be going back on track.
As I stated below, a single film goes a long way unless that director wants to do a trilogy.
Raimi would be the right choice for this or a fantasy setting film like D&D, hell he'll be great for that series besides Peter Jackson and a few others.
Megatron only wants to rule the universe and wipe out all humans.
A few other directors should take over leaving Bay as only a name. Exe producer.
I would watch a Peter Jackson version any day or a Raimi, David Goyer, Chris Nolan, or J. J Adrams.
I'm fine with trilogies , why not a single film every once in a while and let others tell a single story instead of three long films.
I hope it doesnt turn too much into a robot soap opera
Bay better be careful with exploring these Transformers
He's all right but it seems to me that he needs acting lessons still.
