Yea those villians that vampire said are pretty cool. If they do use Carnage in the next films they need to get a good actor for him because the guy they got for Venom sucked.

yeah those two villains could be it. nice one vampire. it does connect the dots and could be interesting, but the only thing is that they should get someone really good to become carnage. venom is better that carnage, but carnage is still pretty interesting too.

I've heard that the next villains they intend on using are Carnage and The Lizard, since Doctor Conner has that little bit of symbiote still, and it could branch out into Carnage. And Doctor Conner still has that missing arm so he can begin his expiramentations with the lizard blood and DNA and become The Lizard.

if they rebot the series, they cant keep SM2. thats already part of a franchise. they cant remake any of the three already made either. if the whole cast does not return, then there is no point at all of making a 4 and 5. the whole story of spider-man made in the first three movies has come too far to be ignored and make a different film series. and as for the whole Jake Gyllenhaal thing, i say that if they DO redo the franchise, get someone better. jake is ok, but maybe there is someone that can pull it off more.

sam and the original cast aren't coming back if they don't im not really going to care that much about the film. if they have to get a new cast they should reboot the series but keep spiderman2

I liked the first two, but the third was a jumbled mess. It fell into the trap that the original Batman franchise did (although not nearly as badly) by trying to incorporate in too many characters.
I would love to see them replace Maguire as well. He's a great dramatic actor and does Peter Parker well, but he's just too dry to pull off the wise-cracking wit that should go with the character of Spidey.

the only thing needed for this to work is to change the crew and to provide acting lessons for the existing cast.Besides that I believe spidey has got good plots and a lot of villians to keep us entertained.One more thing...Fuck yu TKH

Steer away from the slick aesthetic veneer and formulaic plotting to deliver a sequel where the die hard fans and laymen movie goers are taken for a Dark, what will happen next?/Hitchkockian path that will Jolt fans into a dire what happens next cliffhanger.

lol why stop? Spiderman has more enemies and villians than any other comic book superhero....I think Batman has a lot too...regardless, they have plenty of chances of storytelling. I mean seriously, Peter and MJ never got married in the 3rd. They could in the 4th and so on and so on...Conner's has the symboite, fucks up somehow playing with reptile dna, poof a villian lol. You can go in multiple directions with the next film. Let them make the damn thing! Next to Iron Man and X-Men, Spiderman comics and villians were always my favorite.

Bring on the 4th. they learned what not to do from the 3rd. If tobey and raimi dont want to come back it will be fine. Jake Gyllenhaal and another awesome director could knock this shit out in no time and it would still be great! we dont need tobey.

i too, enjoyed the first two, i still see the 2nd as being the icing on the cake, and i think the 1st i was more excited that they finally made a movie, but i agree 3 wasnt entirely too bad, i think it did have some cheeze in it like the dancing, the street scene (which to argue, the "raindrops keep falling on my head" scene in the second could have considerably been compared to the 3rd but noone has even mentioned that), and the over run characters that bombarded the screen without alot of build up or care for them (before ranting... that people know the characters so no need to develop them, the fact is that these characters not everyone knows because not everyone reads comics.)

but i think that all 3 have had some camp, which is what sam is known for in his films anyhow. To discredit this film and say because someone didnt like the 3rd they should not make a 4th is pretty narrow minded imho. I agree that they should sit on it, find the right script, and go back to the basics and make a film that is accessible to all, without trying to saturate the film with too much.

you cnt realy re-invent spidey at this point, the new franchise has already made its mark. Its different for hulk the 1st one didnt realy take well in the eyes of people so its easier to re-invent. As much as i would like more spidey films i think they should leave it for a while longer let it settle then pull it out of the bag. the word overkill comes to mind.

One more thing, if Dunst decides NOT to come back...they dont have to replace her. They can just add a new love interest for Spidey. Besides Mary Jane and Pete do go their seperate ways on the comic so it could work. Bryce Dallas is way better looking than Dunst so maybe add her on there...as for the villain: Carnage would make sence because Pete's professor STILL has some venom with him. Vulture is another popular Spidey villain. Nightmare has one of the best encounters with Spidey so that could be interesting in some way...

Well they have to get the original cast back even though I could live without Dunst cuz she sucks for the role! But have to get Raimi and Tobey back
