Rambo V: A Savage Hunt Changes Direction

Source:  Stallone Zone
A few months ago, Sylvester Stallone revealed some story details for his upcoming action sequel, and now it seems the story has changed a bit. Sylvester Stallone reached out to Stallone Zone (via AICN) and he gave some updates on the story of Rambo V: A Savage Hunt.

I'm letting you know that Rambo has changed course and the story about hunting the man/beast will be done using another character in the lead. RAMBO himself will be heading over the border to a violent city where many young women have vanished

There will be blood.

Best,
Sly Stallone

The original update from September revealed that Stallone would be hunting down said "man/beasts" that were genetically created in a lab in the Pacific Northwest, not too far from where the original First Blood took place, but it seems that another character will take over those duties. We'll be sure to keep you posted on any and all Rambo V: A Savage Hunt details as soon as we have more details.

Better yet; Rambo destroys a terrorist cell from inside America. He defends us in our homeland. And then Rambo shows up at the White House after all of the Terrorists have been killed (to Hell with the trials) and kicks out all of Obama's useless cabinet. Including that fake, two faced, power hungry Hillary. That would be the best plot ever!

LOL Superman! That would be bitchin'!!

And show Obama try to give some motivating speech, to talk his way out of it, but instead he just pisses his pants, as Rambo tells him to "wake the fuck up and arm our military officers on bases all around the country", so the next time, some Muslim with twisted, fucked up ideals, can be plugged and perforated like Swiss cheese, before he has the chance to help his fellow terrorists, by taking out our TRUE fellow Americans.
I'd pay twenty dollars to see that.

I like the "John J goes back to Afghanistan idea, that would be bad ass", have him working with the undercut numbers that are there right now trying to win that mother fucker...at the end, he could show up at the White House like at the end of part 2...shoot up the Oval Office and pin Barrack to the desk...say something like, "support our boys, make a decision you douche, or I'll be back for YOU!" I'd pay 8 bucks for that.

Maybe Mexico will boycot this one, if that's the "border" he's heading over.

Even if Sly didn't make this one, I would have been happy if it ended with "Rambo". Also Rocky Balboa was a good end. They ended both franchises with good instalments. That said, I hope this one doesn't suck.

Thank GOD for that change! Sci-Fi, Rambo is not. Sly must have read our posts. I really wish the story would have still taken place in Hope though. When I heard that it was taking place there, it was the only saving grace of the crappy Man/Beast plot.

And come to think about it, why would there be this genetic government experiment taking place in this, as Teasle said, " backwards hick town...."?

First Blood is definitely my favorite, and it would have been cool to have Rambo there again.

Sly learned from his mistakes from films like Rocky 5 & Rambo 3 and he knows his time is running out. He will get this one right like his last two films.

sites like this do get rumors that don't hold out.
On another note, Stallone needs to stop acting, sure his last film was good to watch but he can still produce films.

"And he is planning on doing another Rocky after Rambo. Said so on this site about two weeks ago."

Uhhhhhhhhhh, I'm pretty sure this site has also reported that Bryan Singer would be helming Man of Steel, and that not only would Phillip Seymour Hoffman be playing the Penguin, but Mr. Depp would be playing the Riddler in the next Nolan Batman that doesn't even have a sc r ip t yet. And I can think of a shit ton more rumors that have been posted on this site that have amounted to nothing. My point, don't believe everything you read on this site.

As always there is someone who posts comments that show they are not intelligent or that they have any humality like that Remy. Would they still see it? Mabey, but your comments are that of a hormone driven idiot who is in a bad move couse the porn he got and watched from his parents closet was made by his parents. Now majority of people hate the idea of a sc-fi Rambo. Its like when they put horror character Jason in space. Rambo should be what many see has a realistic warrior in a realistic situation. And he is planning on doing another Rocky after Rambo. Said so on this site about two weeks ago. But Rambo looked alsome, Balboa was great but not as good as I hoped. But the expendables will boost his carear to the max agian, but how many action movies can he do like he has? Sean Conery had to have movies done ways to make him look good as he got to old to be the "action" star.

So he realized he's too old for another Rocky, but not for another Rambo? How about, instead of "Savage Hunt", you call it "Rambo 5: Guns of the Arthritic Super Soldiers"?

i like how this is being done cause he knows his fans don't want a sci fi twist to the movie we want something real not saying it wouldn't be possible with our government but anyways i cant wait to see this shit i was kinda hoping for the story i wrote would work but im not a professional writer yet so

THANK FUCKING GOD! Stallone it takes ball's and honestly...a man with true humility to take the feedback the fans throw at you, and have the fortitude to actually listen. BRAVO SIR...you saved your character, and perhaps the franchise.
