cnote, what are you talking about? Baroness? She wears a black suit tardhatch. As well as Snake Eyes. Heavy Duty (in the following car) is wearing a black jacket. That's about it. Don't comment if you're gonna be stupid.

I think they don't want to spoil the movie cause I literally still have no idea what the plot is thus far.

And why is it now in "Comic" and "Cartoon based" films, that everybody has to wear a fucking Black Tight Suit??? First X-Men now this....LAME

LOL...Comrade..."Confirmed Suckness"!!! LMAO

I just like to say that I was just about to make the same point that Comrade has already made. Films like The Incredibles (good example, Comrade), Shrek and other films have been marketed towards kids in order to sell merchandise but they also appealed to adults. I would also like to note that while the first Transformers film had flaws, it was still good for people of all ages (the second film, however, is where they lost me. Complete trash.) Also, Comrade, I wasn't saying all people who have negative comments about what they've seen so far aren't going to give it a chance. I'm just talking about the people who are saying they aren't going to see the film because of what they've seen. Like I said, I have my own doubts, as well. I just like to prepare for the worse and hope for the best. Again, especially after Transformers 2. However, once again I want to say that you had a good point about how movies marketed towards kids don't have to satisfy just them.

There was a lot of errors in my last comment. My bad.

*they commercializing
*every tv spot and trailer?
*your going off

Comrades last comment is true. Sommers can do better. I personally liked Mummy and part of Mummy 2, and am not seeing the same type of passion for this one. And is it me or are the commercializing the exact same moves and scenes in ever tv spot and clip and trailer?

Either way, I am going to see this, but will probably be dissapointed. So brain, our going off buddy. :)

A film targeted at a young audience doesn't have to suck. Case and point, The Incredibles. And this is a PG-13 feature, it's targeted at a wide audience, so you'd think they'd try for some kind of cinematic character or story quality like Star Trek just did, but no. Because Sommers is a moron.

What I'm saying is, part of making the movie is about breaking the mold and creating a new and exciting spin on the idea FOR MODERN AUDIENCES. If they're just going to do a live action version of some old episodes, what's the fucking point? And don't say money, because this thing will probably bomb.

Ray Park is in the Snake Eyes suit, he has to breath like everybody else who is living on this Earth, not having a mouth on a suit (that looks terribly uncomfortable) and wearing it all day they would have to make some type of mouth part so he can breath. I bet you inside the lips is a little vent thingy. I doubt he has an oxygen tank inside his suit lol otherwise he'd suffocate. It has to be somewhat real.

DADARKNIGHT agreed This is coming from a cartoon fan who loved cartoons back in the day when they were still real and cool. Watching shows like X-men, Transformers, He-man, the maxx, Spider-man and Batman (the bruce timm edition's). Personnaly speaking i think cartoons have changed and aren't the way they used to be i mean for goodness sake they use computers to make them, you may call me an old or something but cartoon were supposed to be made on paper in a studio. And kids have to watch shit like Ben 10 (who has shit film adaptions). What i appreciate most about this film it will pay tribute to the whole 80's show vibe with a twist of 09.

But see comrade this is where I think we as fans miss the point this film and transformers were not catered towards us. These films are really doing what the cartoons did for us back in the days and that is to sell toys to kids plan and simple. Yes they know that we will go and see for nostalgia purposes, as well as being able to sit in the theaters with our kids and watch with them the stuff we grew up with. Especially now-a-days because lets face it cartoons that are action based and not comedy based sitcoms for adults(Family Guy)pretty much suck. All the kids have to watch these days are Ben 10 because everytime the station make a good cartoon like justice league and spectacular spider-man they cancel them because the rating are not like they use to be. The reason why kids do not watch cartoons they watch movies and internet stuff that is pretty much what hasbro is doing with these movies advertising their toys lol

And it's not as though I'm not giving this movie a chance, I'm just predicting that after it comes out, it will have confirmed suckness.

Here's the thing dadarkknight (nice name),
The cartoon was 80's shlock, no doubt.
The comics became a really cool military ops comic over the years, trimming the useless characters and adding depth to the remaining ones.
Last time I checked, this movie wasn't being made in 1989, it was made this year, AFTER the more serious, more enjoyable comics series was released. To ignore that part of the cannon would be like making a Batman movie based on the 60's TV Series. It would suck, and it couldn't even have the defense of camp value because it wouldn't have been made in the 60's.

That is what this film is, and it's a stupid move by all involved.

Plus, a fucking Wayans? Somebody should have told Elvira what an abortion or a condom was.

I think that while you can't determine if a movie is good by the trailers, you can almost always determine if it will suck.

July 21st, 2009 11:21am
To all the people who are already writing this movie off based on what they have seen (mostly stills, not a whole lot of video), just remember: we all thought Spider-Man 3 was going to rule based on the trailers. Unfortunately, the movie sucked. Yes, I have my doubts but I'm still going to give this movie a chance and I'm praying to God that it makes up for Transformers 2.

WTF were you people expecting, Saving Private Ryan. I mean have you honestly watched the cartoon (Which the movie is clearly based on because it is defiantly not based on the comics) was not deep at all, it was made like any other cartoon in the 80s to sell toys to kids. The show was an half hour of people dressed like the village people shouting silly catch phrases(Yooo Joe! and Cobrraaaa!, Cobra la la la la la! the spruced up movie version) while shooting red and blue lasers at each other, which never seemed to make contact with anything but vehicles that they parachuted out of at the last minute. This is differently a step up to me from the cartoon. The last thing I want to see is Gung-ho and the kung-fu dude with the red bandanna running around in their cartoon uniforms lol. As far as Snake-eyes suit goes it looks awesome to me at least they did not f him up like they did deadpool. They did make him a pretty much identical minus the lips which you will never really see because of the color of his suit. This movie look better than Origins lol

OMG...What a Piece of Shit!!!!
Your right Dethklokx....fucking Snake Eye's didnt have fucking pertruding lips on his suit....
You would think that the directors of all these newly released 90's based cartoons would get some fucking clue of what these characters really looked like!!

i will definitely see this movie on opening day, but im not expecting it to be amazing or great, the amount of humour will overthrow any type seriousness for the film, plus that clip, those suits do make it "cheesy". i will not expect greatness when i see it, just it being mediocre
