CBS Taps Garth Brooks and Celine Dion for a Pair of Primetime Music Specials

We haven't seen a successful primetime musical in awhile, but CBS is trying to buck the trend with two big musical artists in Celine Dion and Garth Brooks.

Dion, fresh off her five-year run in Las Vegas, will star in "Celine Dion: That's Just the Woman in Me," which was filmed at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles this past Saturday. The show, which will feature guest stars Josh Groban and Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am, will air on CBS on Friday, Feb. 15, at 9 p.m.

The Garth Brooks special will be a live affair, dubbed "Garth Brooks: Live in L.A.!," which will air on Jan. 25 at 9 pm. The special will chronicle Brooks' planned five concerts around the city in two days, with the program originating at the Staples Center.
